We would like to inform you about the new rules related to the international mobility of students and staff.
Instructions for AMU students’ and teachers’ foreign travels
Students leaving the country for studies or an internship shall be duly insured before departing. If the epidemic situation deteriorates, the students shall consider returning to the Czech Republic. As regards returning, they shall consult the faculty’s person in charge. Teachers and employees shall be sent on foreign trips only to low-risk countries. Before departing, they shall take out business trip insurance. If an employee is quarantined abroad, AMU shall pay the costs of their extended stay (accommodation, travel expenses).
Arrivals of international teachers and students to AMU
Foreign teachers or expert arriving at AMU shall be duly insured for business trips. On arrival, they shall hand in a completed and signed Solemn Declaration (see the form) to the relevant international section of the faculty or AMU workplace where they are to work. If an international guest is seconded by an institution or a partner school, their employer shall bear the costs associated with any quarantine in the Czech Republic. If an international guest is arriving on AMU’s invitation, has in place a Contract for Work or an Artist Contract with AMU and has not been seconded by an employer, the person shall take out due insurance prior to the trip. If the person is quarantined, they are solely responsible for any increased costs of their stay in the Czech Republic.
Students arriving at AMU for the purposes of studies, internship or an artistic or creative project shall take out due insurance prior to leaving for the Czech Republic, and on arrival they shall submit a completed and signed Solemn Declaration (see the form below).
