ADJUSTED schedule FOR THE SUMMER TERM OF THE 2019/2020 ACADEMIC YEAR

THE FACULTY MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE STATED TIMES IN RESPONSE TO DEVELOPMENTS.

The times given below are based on the assumption that tuition will start on 1. 6. 2020 at the latest. Dates relating to the past are no longer given.

If a department head needs to modify this timetable, a written request for exemption, giving reasons, may be lodged with the faculty management. The management will carefully deal with every such request. In the light of the current emergency, justified requests will be accepted so that every student can complete the academic year properly and without problems.

Information on teachers’ standard holidays – 8 weeks, from 13. 7. to 4. 9. 2020. 
 

SUMMER TERM                  17. 2. – 11. 7. 2020

• Deadline for handing in bachelor’s/master’s and PhD written works in electronic form, June finals: 30. 4. 2020
   
• Deadline for handing in bachelor’s/master’s and PhD written works in electronic form, September finals: 30. 6. 2020
   
• Deadline for handing in bachelor’s/master’s and PhD written works in printed form – deadline to be specified later, depending on the situation
   
• Deadline for completing performance exams: 11. 7. 2020
   
• Deadline for handing in completed “Diploma Work Topic” forms to the appropriate department secretariat: 30. 6. 2020

 

Summer term exams period  25. 5. – 30. 9.

End of 1st, 2nd and 4th year major subject exams before the department plenum:  22.6. – 11. 7. 2020

Finals, bachelor’s and master’s, according to departments’ capacities and the nature of the subject: 22. 6. – 11. 7. 2020 and 7. 9. – 18. 9. 2020

Finals, doctorate, according to departments’ capacities and the nature of the subject: 22. 6. – 11. 7. 2020 and 7. 9. – 18. 9. 2020

Exams before the dean’s panel – will not take place in 2020. In the case of problematic students, the department head will discuss further action with the faculty management

For bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate study 2020/2021 – all higher years:  1. – 15.10. 2020

End of 2019/2020 academic year:  30.9. 2020

Start of 2020/2021 academic year:  1.10. 2020
