Appointment of members of the HAMU Art Council (the "HAMU AC") and its scope of powers is defined in Section 19 of the Act and the HAMU AC Rules of Procedure. The Dean is the Chairman of the HAMU AC and determines the number of other HAMU AC members. The Dean may appoint permanent guests and emeritus HAMU AC members.
In accordance with Section 29.1 of the Act, the term of office of other HAMU AC members is the same as that of the Dean.
